Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company that is seeking a skilled professional to support and enhance its IT infrastructure.

The Role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the company's IT systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the business. You'll work on a mix of BAU and project-based tasks, from troubleshooting network issues to implementing new technologies that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring minimal downtime and high system reliability.
• Implement security best practices to protect company data and assets.
• Work on infrastructure upgrades and improvement projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs), virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
