Title: Rehabilitative Palliative Nursing Assistant
Salary: £19,984 – £23,981 pa (Depending on Hours) – plus enhancements – Saturday-midnight to midnight + weekdays after 8pm and before 6am = 30% Sunday + Public Holidays = 60%.

Location: Tapping House, Wheatfields, Hillington
Hours of work: 30-36 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) – Hours to be worked on a rota basis including weekends, bank holidays and nights.

Annual Leave: 25 days increasing to 27 after 5 years’ service and 29 after 9 years’ service + 8 days in lieu of public holidays (FTE)

Job Summary
Tapping House is a leading provider of palliative care services in Norfolk. We are an independent charity delivering innovative and specialist rehabilitative therapy, end of life care and bereavement services. The Dr Hugh Ford Inpatient Unit has nine beds, dedicated to delivering outstanding palliative and end of life care.


This post, working under the guidance of the registered nurse and the therapy lead, supports the Inpatient Unit team to deliver high quality person centred care and a range of interventions to meet the needs of patients within the IPU setting using a holistic approach. The post holder plays a critical role in empowering the IPU team to embed the principles of rehabilitative palliative care.

This is an opportunity to be part of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team, helping patients and their families during some of the most important moments of their lives.
