Trainee Administrative Assistant (Modern Apprenticeship in Business & Administration)
Fixed term for 2 years due to post being an apprenticeship.
Real living wage applies.
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This post will be based at Link’s Edinburgh office.

Link has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Administrative Assistant role which is supported by a Modern Apprenticeship in Business & Administration. As part of the apprenticeship, the successful candidate will undertake a SVQ2 (SCQF 5) in Business Administration in year one, progressing to a level SVQ3 (SCQF 6) in year two.
As a Trainee Administrative Assistant, you will learn to understand our business, customers and services and we will provide you with the necessary practical on-the-job and formal training to help build your confidence and improve your admin and customer service skills. The role involves learning how to provide first class front of house and office management services as well as providing general administrative duties including typing, document formatting, photocopying, scanning, dealing with correspondence and many more.
About You
You will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Office and have experience in working with people either in a professional or personal capacity.
You will be keen to learn and develop, take on new challenges and have an organised and logical approach. Being interested in people and being honest, open and approachable are essential requirements for this role.
