About the Role
A well-established architectural practice in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Technologist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist or Senior Architectural Technician to lead the technical delivery of projects from design development through to construction.
The role involves producing detailed technical and construction drawings, coordinating with consultants and internal teams, and ensuring high-quality, practical, and buildable solutions across industrial, commercial, and large-scale technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical delivery of projects across multiple RIBA work stages
Produce detailed technical and construction drawing packages
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and consultants
Assist with problem-solving and design development
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD
Strong technical knowledge, including construction detailing, BIM workflows, and UK Building Regulations
Experience across industrial, commercial, or large-scale technical projects preferred
Excellent coordination, communication, and client liaison skills
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Able to work from the Nottingham office 5 days per week (within a 40-minute commute)
