Based at our Coffin Factory in Nottinghamshire, we are recruiting for a Driver to help with the completion of deliveries to both our internal and external customers. You’ll be delivering an industry leading service following all aspects of health & safety and local authority regulations.
We will provide you with all the necessary training and support to develop your knowledge of our products.
You’ll be supporting our Delivery Lead with loading and unloading of vehicles, and completing daily deliveries as required.
Working collaboratively with our Customer Services Team Leader and Customer Service Administrators, you’ll be reporting any customer returns or concerns to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
As well as maintaining vehicles, you’ll also be making sure that daily and weekly vehicle checks are carried out and take responsibility for documenting any maintenance concerns.
Bringing enthusiasm and willingness to train on all processes- you’ll undertake any external training required.
A great team player, you’ll promote effective working relationships will all colleagues and always act as a supportive team member, within the Coffin Factory team. This may require support with ad hoc duties as required.
You’ll assist in promoting our Coffin Factory within the local community, building up good working relationships with third parties.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
What you will need, is a full clean driving licence as well as flexibility in working time patterns.
Previous experience of working in a factory environment and driving 3.5 ton and 7.5-ton vehicles is desirable but not essential.
This role requires dedication and enthusiasm as well as strong organisation and communication skills. You should be customer focused as well as a good team player.
