The work our teams do in services depends on a lot happening behind the scenes. Suppliers need paying on time, expenses need processing properly, and the records need to add up. Our Finance team takes care of all of this so that frontline staff can focus on the people they support. We’re looking for someone to help.

The role is 16 hours a week, and we’re flexible about when those hours are worked. We can agree a pattern around school runs, caring responsibilities or anything else you need to fit in.

  • Entering data accurately and maintaining financial records
  • Helping with reconciliations and routine month-end tasks
  • Answering queries from suppliers and from colleagues across our services

What we’re looking for

The most important thing is the qualities of a great administrator.

  • You’re well organised and methodical, with real attention to detail
  • You’re comfortable with numbers and confident using Excel
  • You communicate clearly, both on the phone and in writing
  • You’re reliable and can manage your own workload
  • You handle confidential and financial information with discretion
  • Experience in finance, accounts or bookkeeping
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
  • Experience in health and social care

What we offer

  • Flexible hours arranged around your other commitments
  • Full training and support from an experienced Finance team
