Online Sales and Packing Assistant

StudWeldPro-UK Ltd is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised Online Sales & Packing Assistant to join our small, friendly team at our head office in Tuxford, near Newark.

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You will play an important part in supporting our customers and helping to grow our online sales across our e-commerce platforms and social media channels.

The role will involve:

• Providing excellent customer service face-to-face, over the phone, by email and via online messages
• Processing and managing online sales and customer enquiries
• Promoting and generating sales through social media platforms
• Creating and responding to social media messages and customer enquiries
• Using our e-commerce platforms and processing online orders
• Updating product and customer information and carrying out general data processing
• Picking, cutting and packing a variety of customer orders
• Preparing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
• Assisting customers at our trade counter
• Helping with the day-to-day running of our online sales operation
• Working both independently and as part of a small team

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, trustworthy and hardworking
• Computer literate and comfortable using email, e-commerce systems and social media
• Interested in online sales and social media
• Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
• Organised and able to work accurately
• Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
• A good team player with a positive attitude
• Happy to undertake practical, hands-on work including picking and packing

Previous experience in online sales, e-commerce, social media, customer service or a warehouse/packing environment would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right applicant.
