We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Community Pathways Team that provides a wide range of day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs. You will support the manager with the day to day running of operations and support the team to provide services and co-produce new activities with the people using the service. The Team offers services from our building bases in Thornliebank and Barrhead as well as a range of community venues.

We are seeking someone who has extensive experience of working with adults with additional support needs and has previous supervisory experience. It is essential that you are adaptive to change, can prioritise your workload and support the development of the service and of the team. It is essential that you are confident in networking with stakeholders and that you lead by example.

Ideally the successful post holder will also have experience of scheduling rotas.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.

This post requires Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) registration. You must currently have registration or eligibility to apply from commencement of employment (you must apply to register within the first 3 months of employment to ensure registration is complete within 6 months of starting in your role).
