We have an excellent permanent opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our West Leicestershire Community Neighbourhood Mental Health Team within the directorate of Adult Mental Health.
This is a full-time role to cover 9-5 Monday to Friday. Full time hours are 37.5 hours a week. Although full time hours are offered, we are happy to consider a job share which, for example, may consist of one person working in the morning and the other in the afternoon
The Team provides comprehensive support to older adults with mental health problems. And consists of nurses; medics; Occupational Therapists and Psychologists.
As an Administration Assistant the West Leicestershire Team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team, mainly by providing front of house cover to Main Reception, greeting a variety of people which could include other Health Service disciplines; Patients; carers; relatives and Contractors. You will need to be quick thinking yet operate within Trust Policies and guidelines.
Please note that there will be a requirement to cover both Mental Health sites in Hinckley as required. Orchard Resource Centre is in Hill Street, HInckley and Hynca Lodge on Tudor Road..

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)

As an Administration Assistant/Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and face to face from patients and referrers. You will be working proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff.
You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties. For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills.
The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police.
