Full Time Temporary Contract (Minimum 3 Months)

£17.61 - £18.70 per hour PAYE

Approx. £22.95 - £24.40 per hour Umbrella

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner Multi-Skilled Operative to join a busy property maintenance team covering residential housing stock across the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with experience delivering responsive repairs and maintenance within social housing, local authority, housing association or property services environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of joinery and carpentry repairs.
  • Complete responsive and planned maintenance works within occupied and void properties.
  • Undertake additional multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on the first visit wherever possible.
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service to residents.
  • Accurately record works completed and materials used.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience carrying out housing repairs and maintenance.
  • Experience working within social housing, local authority or property maintenance settings.
  • Good all-round multi-trade skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
