An excellent opportunity for a motivated Field Service Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly established machine tool specialist supporting blue-chip customers across aerospace, automotive, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
This role requires regular International and European travel.
The Role:
- Attending breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance
- Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Working on automated machinery including electrical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CNC and machine tool equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repair
- Supporting customers within aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, and manufacturing environments
- PLCs and fault finding
Person:
- Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer
- Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems
- Confident working on breakdowns and solving problems independently
- Some exposure to PLC fault finding is highly desirable
- Experience with automated machinery, CNC, robotics or similar equipment
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically
