Job Title: People Experience Partner

Function: People Team

Location: Hybrid Work – Expectation is two days per week at either our Nottingham or Wakefield office

Contract type: FTC – 12 months

Number of roles – 2 x Nottingham, 1 x Wakefield

Salary: £47,874

Required start date: Due to the immediate business need to support the delivery of key priorities and objectives within the current financial year, we are seeking candidates who are available to start immediately or who have a notice period of no more than four weeks.

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a People Experience Partner to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

The People Experience Partner plays a key role in delivering our People Strategy through strong partnerships with leaders and managers across assigned directorates.

Combining a people-centred approach with data-led decision making, the role supports the delivery of directorate people plans that drive colleague engagement, capability, performance and organisational effectiveness.

Working closely with People Experience Leads, specialist People teams and business leaders, the People Experience Partner provides pragmatic advice, coaching and challenge to ensure people priorities align with business objectives and organisational values. The role focuses on translating People Strategy into practical actions that improve colleague experiences and support business performance.

  • Partner with leaders and managers to understand business priorities and deliver people-focused solutions.
  • Providing expert advice, coaching and challenge on employee relations, performance and people management matters.
  • Using people data and insights to identify trends, manage risks and support informed decision-making.

  • Supporting organisational change and collaborating with specialist People teams to enhance the colleague experience.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

  • Experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, HR Manager or similar role within a complex organisation.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused people advice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Ability to analyse people data and translate insights into practical solutions and actions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills, with a passion for delivering a great colleague experience.
