Are you passionate about supporting women affected by domestic abuse to rebuild their lives safely and confidently? We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and motivated Domestic Violence Specialist to join our team.

In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed support to women experiencing domestic abuse. Working with a varied caseload, you will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop personalised safety plans, advocate with a range of agencies including housing, health, social care and courts, and empower women to achieve safe and independent futures.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and case management skills, a strong understanding of domestic abuse and safeguarding, and the ability to build trusting relationships while managing complex and sensitive situations.

What you'll do:

  • Provide specialist support to women affected by domestic abuse.
  • Complete risk and needs assessments and develop safety plans.
  • Advocate with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Contribute to service development, quality standards and survivor voice.
  • Work collaboratively to deliver excellent outcomes for women and children.

Juno Women's Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. We work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe.
