The Visa Compliance Team supports the University in meeting its obligations under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requirements for applicants and students who require immigration permission to study in the UK. The team works closely with colleagues across Admissions and Student Lifecycle Services to support visa-related activity throughout the international student journey.

We are now seeking to appoint a Visa Compliance Assistant to join the Visa Compliance Team within the International Student Journey Service. This role provides administrative and organisational support to help ensure visa compliance processes are delivered accurately, consistently, and in line with established procedures. This fixed-term position is available as maternity cover and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within visa compliance and the international student journey.

The successful candidate will work with a wide range of stakeholders, including academic, faculty, and professional services colleagues across the University, as well as external organisations such as the Home Office. The role contributes to a positive student experience within a regulated environment by supporting the effective delivery of visa compliance processes.

This position is well suited to an individual with experience in a relevant administrative role, a strong customer service focus and an interest in developing specialist knowledge of immigration compliance within a higher education setting.
