Clinical Deputy Manager Contract
Why Join Guthrie House Care Home?
Exceptional care is built on strong leadership, clinical expertise and a team culture where residents always remain at the heart of every decision, and as Deputy Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in helping ensure the home consistently delivers the highest standards of care, professionalism and resident wellbeing every single day.
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will support the overall day to day leadership of the home while helping oversee clinical standards, team development and the delivery of safe, person centred care. This is a fully supernumerary role, mainly working Monday to Friday, although flexibility will be required to support the needs of the home.
We are looking for a strong Clinical Deputy Manager, ideally with previous care home experience. You will provide visible, hands on leadership, working alongside the nursing and care teams while maintaining professional boundaries and clinical oversight. You will support the team with care planning, medication management, clinical documentation, audits and compliance, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced nurse qualified leader with a strong clinical background who is ready to take on greater responsibility within a senior leadership position. Whether you are an experienced Clinical Lead, Charge Nurse or existing Deputy Manager, your ability to lead with confidence, support others and maintain exceptional standards will directly influence the daily experience of residents, families and the wider team.
What Matters Most
If you are looking for a leadership role where clinical expertise, hands on support and strong leadership come together to make a meaningful difference every day, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
