We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer – Plumbing to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching across Level 1 to Level 3 plumbing programmes.

What you'll be doing as a Lecturer in Plumbing

• Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Level 1–3 plumbing programmes, adapting your approach to meet the needs of different learners.

• Plan and develop engaging schemes of work, lesson materials and learning activities that support learner progress and achievement.

• Assess learner work and provide constructive, timely feedback, setting SMART targets and supporting students to achieve their goals.

• Build positive relationships with learners, providing guidance, encouragement and support throughout their learning journey.

• Monitor attendance, progress and achievement, identifying where additional support or intervention may be required.

• Contribute to course coordination, curriculum development and quality improvement activities.

What we're looking for in our next Lecturer in Plumbing

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical plumbing knowledge with a genuine passion for developing people.

You will ideally have:

• Recent and comprehensive experience working within the plumbing/construction industry.

• A relevant Level 3/4, HND, degree or professional industry qualification in plumbing or a related subject.

• A good understanding of current developments and initiatives within the plumbing and vocational education sector.

• Experience of teaching, training, mentoring or supporting learners is desirable, although we are keen to hear from experienced industry professionals looking to move into teaching.
